Places I have called home.
Although I have been roaming for years, only three countries have truly felt like home. By this I mean that I went beyond Traveller/Tourist status. These are the places where I have stayed for more than six months, rented various apartments, cooked most of my own meals, shopped for furniture, and where I have received government IDs. In short, these are the places where I set down some roots. Only my native Canada and the United States, as well as my many long-term stays in the Czech Republic, fit in this special category.
